you can do a wikapidia search for Ogle and get the details....there were only a handfull manufacture (somewhere around 40 or 50) and this is #37 of the run of builds.....pretty much a mini under the bonnet this one has a 998 with some work done

Hi..Bignorm

the 2 minis's above are 2 different makes black/white pic is an Austin Cooper S..... and colour pic is a Morris Cooper, so I hope that the latter mini is not a fake, do they have orignal paper work.

They are two different cars. GRX 309D is owned by Tony Arnold

Picture taken 2005

BUT the Morris Cooper you worked on is a sweet ride,
but not the works Mini in the B&W pic. Nice restoration Tony!

Since this race car is the last incarnation of GRX 309D it should be allowed to wear the registration number. The UK car ,IF it is the Abingdon rally car, should also have a good strong paper trail, however unlike the race car above most of them don't as they were actually scrapped and broken. Makes you wonder how all these cars ended up with works registrations in the first place ! ?

It appears the car wearing the GRX 309D registration number in England was first registered in 1995.... http://mcr.mywowbb.com/forum4/2847.html
