FYI for those looking for a Classic (Connecticut)

Note: This is not a car to bastardize with a Honda drivetrain. -End rant-

Just saw this on the local craigslist: http://newlondon.craigslist.org/car/699489709.html with link to: http://miniforsale.wordpress.com/

Certainly appears to be an honest one owner car. Salty for my tastes, but probably a good deal considering it's a real LHD USA spec Mk1 Mini, not a grey market car, besides the (presumed) fact that it's a Cooper S.

Mystic's a nice town to visit, especially this time of year! Drop me a line if you come to town for this car.

-Will

SWEET car. A bit pricey, but it could be worth it, if it's immaculate.

Not immaculate, but a good survivor Better if it had original interior and lost that funky plastic rally dash thing-a-ma-bob

Yeah, the 80s definitely happened to that car. Not too bad though. I could appreciate it. That said I'd still want to take back to 1967...

It would definitely be worth the price if it hadn't been totally striped and painted yellow. To bad the undercarriage is yellow, I bet to get it back to it's original green and white would cost up wards of 10K. If the undercarriage was still green maybe 4k. Still one of my dream cars though.

Heck, just pull off the side stripes, paint the roof black and put on black bonnet stripes - it'll be a Killer Bee.
