998 value ?$?

I am looking to convert to a 1275 (possibly vtec) and would like to know the value of my good running 998 w/ 2.9 fd ratio. It cruises great on the highway and is equipped with the lead free head (late '88 model). Just trying to see if I can offset any cost...college student.

I am located in Portland, OR. If I converted to a 1275 the motor would not come with any of the ancillaries. If I did a vtec, it would be ready for a complete drop in.

You're welcome I'm in FL and I follow it religiously. What about SAMOA? Seatlle Area Mini Owners Association? http://www.seattleminiowners.com/ Or for Oregon: http://www.oregonminisociety.com/mambo/index.php

The 2.9 FD is hard to come by and is somewhat desirable as it is pretty well suited to modern driving (new from MM they run $300 alone.) Just my two cents
