Anyone know how to ID a distributor?

Anyone know how to ID a distributor?

I looked at mine, and cleaned all the gunk off, all I can find is what looks like LUCAS and made in england. I havent taken the cap off yet to look inside. I wasnt sure if anyone had one laying around on a work bench that they could look at, or if anyone knew.

They are stamped on the side with the model. Look closely with a mirror or pull it to inspect.

25D caps have an arched opening on the side and the case has a matching square slot

Here is the point set. Notice the clear plastic piece at 12 o'clock to which I refer


45D has a flat bottomed cap with a small molded square which locates the cap on the case. The condenser wire pulls through the side of the case. Here is the tune up kit, notice the differences in points & condenser:

I was out there with a inspection mirror yesterday. I'll take another look today, must have missed it.
