Electric Water Pump

Does anyone know about any electric water pumps that will work with a classic mini?

You got the car home ok then? Are you going to try to weld the radiator or get a new one?

I don't know about electric ones, but GBParts has the correct one on this page for about $28.

Yeah the car made it back I rolled it all the way down the mountian and then drove it home the last 10 or so miles had to stop twice to add water and let it cool then finally got home. I am thinking about getting it welded as of now. The neck was just a pressure fitting and when we got back to the car and the radiator cooled it was tight on the top I could not pull it off but did not try that hard. did not test it either just left the cap off while I was driveing it home.
I was looking to see if I could find an electric one so I could run it and an electric fan for a while after the car was turned off to cool the engine incase it gets hot like it did not the mountian

no need for Electric Water Pump

In UAE at these days the Temp from 115 to 120 °F my Mini getting really HOT
I replace the plastic fan with 6 blade tropical fan now the temp a lot better than before but still getting hot after 15 min of driving
& I ordered thermostat blanking sleeve. (Waiting for the shipping).
& will order Stock 3 core radiator > my radiator is old & rusty

My friend has Stock radiator + 6 blade tropical fan on 1.3i & it’s working perfectly.

I know there are racers that use the electric pump for weight savings, but I've been told the stock pump is just fine for anything less - plus, not everyone who races is going electric. I guess it's a personal choice then.

The new water pumps you can buy (at least the one I got) weigh only about 1 pound and are made out of alluminum.
