I AM READY FOR MY HEAD TO EXPLODE !!!!!
Can any one tell me what is the thread pattern on the front axel nut is, the nut that holds the brake rotor on, for a 1998 spec sport pack. because i need to buy a round die to tap it . a couple of the first threads are damaged .. just my *%$#@&^! luck...

 

Did you try calling or mailing MiniMania? Seeing as how they carry so many parts, I'd assume that it's likely they have spec books or some other reference guide that might have these answers. Of course, someone here might just know off the top of their heads, so posting was a good instinct, but I'd try there, too while you're waiting for someone to see this thread.

Also... you can't just replace the nut?

Thanks Imagox .. I have a new nut but i have to clean the threads on the axel because the nut wont go on it. thank you on your advise.. on to minimania I go......

 

Gotcha... I see what you need now. And obviously pulling off the axel so you can just take it into a mechanic's place is not really an option... Well, it might be a last resort, but I'm sure someone here or over at Minimania can get you an answer... Good luck and I hope it works out for you!
