This past Sunday was the National Mini Cooper Day in Beaulieu, UK. It was a great event as mini as far away as Norway made the trip to show off their classic minis. It was also a sunny warm day here in the UK which made it even a better day out. Follow the attached link to see images from the show.

I think we should take the national day you are observing (June 10th?) and informally extend it to these shores!!! We need a National MINI Cooper day, too....so why not make it global!!!

Yes, please keep us posted!! If nothing else we should celebrate informally in solidarity w/ our UK confreres!!!! I mean, face it...we really need another excuse to get together and praise our wonderful cars. Something of this nature might even some give various clubs a reason to get together w/ other clubs.

And I still think we need a Plant Oxford Appreciation Day!!!
