The mini is finally MINE!

So, long story short, my mini is FINALLY titled in my name, licensed, and registered all in California! I bought the car in September of last year and have been trying to get a title for it ever since. I won the car on Ebay, flew out to Georgia to pick it up, was promised by the seller that he would send me the title in the mail (bad idea, but I really wanted to hit the road, so I trusted him), and now 9 months later it is ALL DONE! With patience and some connections the mini is legally mine and ready for the street...granted, I must admit that I still drove the mini without the registration or anything and luckily never got pulled over. Now, for some pictures! These were taken by my best friend Ben Thompson with his Cannon 30D. Awesome skills!

Congrats! I bought mine on eBay as well and while a huge headahce, it only took a month and a half. How did you get it through customs without the title? Maybe I shouldn't ask that ;-)

Your friend is a great photographer and the car is pretty hot. Well... as hot as a mini can be...

It was already in the US. But appearantly in Georgia you don't need a title for a vehicle that old...so there never was a title issued UNTIL mine in California. Now I just need to finish rewiring the front end...finish my dash...lower the back end...and ENJOY!

just for fun....my roomates and my's parking spot..

...there's a motorcycle in there too.
