Karen and I are going to hit the last Milwaukee MINI Monday event of the year.

We will leave from her office in Vernon Hills, near the mall, at 530.

All are welcome to join. I'll take side roads north of the "toll from hell" then jump on the freeway to Leon's.

Hey Gang, just got back from the wet, windy, chilly MINI Monday.

12 MINIS and 1 Austin Mini showed tonight for great shakes and ice cream, yes we had cold goods on a cold night.

Harold, with a 2002 MINI just hit 189,000 miles. When asked about the MINI being faithful, his only issue was at 180K, when he had to put rear pads on the brakes. Thats right, 189K and NOT ONE issue.

 

You weren't kidding that it was cold. I had a hot dog and a hot fudge sunday to try to ward off the cold. I do have some pictures here of the event. Unfortunately they didn't turn out so hot, but I wasn't willing to mess with settings in the cold weather!
