So far so good. The weather is cooperating and the chance of a severe storm has diminished slightly. See you all at 7pm!

oh - a good lot for hiding under is just to the north east of woodfield on the mall loop road. Right next to the shoe store. It's huge and no one parks there. My sig pix was taken there

It was nice meeting you guys/gals. congrats on the car again o-ron. good stuff

But..where did you guys go??? I think i lost you guys when you were on higgins road (i was on my cell). Did you guys make a right or left turn somewhere? i went straight and went to the woodfield parking garage. I didn't see any MINIs around. After driving around for a couple minutes I saw lightning so i guess that was my calling card

if i still have the MINI, i do hope that we can do this again. I had a good time.

yeah, we headed onto I-290 towards Chicago, but I canceled out. I just couldn't see anything!!! Also, my car was stumbling very oddly as I was merging onto the highway. I think my intake was getting a little soaked??? Anyway, congrats on the car again o-ron!! Great choice in color , be sure to sign up to the Dark Silver Owners Club! and please have a safe, enjoyable trip home! hopefully you were able to find your way back. Let's keep this thread alive and definitly post up those pics!

I hope that everyone made it home safe. I was a bit freaked out by the sideways rain on 355. Yes, time for new tires! O-ron, congrats on your car and have a safe adventure home. I hope that your local MINI family is half as cool as everyone that made it out tonight.

Don't forget the blue tape and I expect to see many pics of the trip home.

Nice meeting everyone! o-ron, congrats on the MINI The rims and the mirror caps are perfect! I hope you have a safe and fun ride home! I too am expecting to see lots of pictures. I hope you guys had a good time in Chicago tonight!

My pictures are now on flickr here.

2perCooper - we made a right and drove to the parking lot near the out lot stores next to Rt 53. I'm sorry you didn't make it

blockh102 - we ducked under the garage and waited it out for 5-10 minutes. It looked like it was coming down fast!

That was a hoot.

It was great meeting you guys. After trudging down 290 in an awful downpour, we eventually made it back to the City, and introduced o-ron to Lower Wacker, LSD, and the twisties of Sheridan.

Nice meeting everyone yesterday, eventhough my stay was short lived. any threat of rain and my car runs for the garage! And we just had to go check out the new macbooks at the apple store.
congrats on the car o-ron, nice meeting you as well. I couldn't have chosen a better color combo myself. Even down to the wheels. Great choice! Have a nice and safe trip

So you've exhausted your MINI motoring quota Does this mean you won't be at Culvers?
