Schaumburg area pulley replacement?

Anyone know if there's someone near Schaumburg that can do a pulley swap for me?

Alta 19% pulley and belt.

Thanks!

oh, and if you know pricing, that would help too.

Have you talked to Adam in Patrick's MINI's service department? 847-303-MINI. Patrick is mod friendly, and in Schaumburg.

i had Randy Webb do mine... i wasn't sure if i could do it myself without
seeing someone do it first.

i think you can do it by yourself, but since the sc pulley is such a core
piece of the assembly, i would recommend you have a shop do it for
you, at least for your first time. If you've done pulleys in the past,
i am sure it is cake.

goodluck. (most places charge $85-100/hr and probably about 2hrs).

if you want to tackle it on your own, I've got the pulley tool that you can borrow. Heck if you have a warm garage, I might even chip in some beer/pizza/elbow grease to experiment on your car before we do it on mine

so freakin' cold right now though that I'm waiting for Spring time to tackle it....
