Lincolnwood Towers Holiday Drive

Come on out and join me for a short drive around the Lincolnwood Towers area to experience the holiday lights

WHAT: Just a short cruise around a cool area to check out the festive houses and lights, and a stop at Jacks Resturaunt for coffee, desert or whatever.

WHEN: Friday December 14th. Meet at 7pm Drive around from 7:15 until about 8pm, and then head to Jacks at 5201 Touhy in Skokie, IL

WHERE: Lets try to meet somewhere on Ramona Street between Pratt and Sauganash. The boundaries for the drive are all the streets between Carpenter, Devon, Longmeadow, and Pratt

WHO: Anyone who wants to come on out.. We can either drive in formation or randomly cruise the area and beep and wave when we cross paths.

WHY: Just for fun!!

Hope to see you out there

the Lincolnwood Lights are highlighted in the book "the Best Christmas Decorations in Chicagoland". http://www.christmashouses.com/index.html

I didn't go last year... but I went the year before and was able to drive through with the top-down it's the best way to see the animated treehouse and the tri-level Xmas tree.

sounds like fun. Haven't been thru that area to see the lights since high school, and yes that tri-level tree was there back in 1976! I think it even goes through the roof of that house, if I recall.
