I'd appreciate hearing from any Canucks who have used Tirerack.com for wheels/tires. Specifically what was the customs duty hit (aprox. percentage) and, if possible, what kind of shipping charges into western Canada.

Quality issues?

I've put some Nokian WRs on my stock 15 inch wheels and am thinking about new rims and perhaps tires for summer. Tirerack has some nice (garish) 15 inch ORANGE rims that would look good on my one tone BRG standard mini.

 

We just purchased a set of Kosei K1 racing wheels and Michelin X-Ice tires through a distributer for Tirerack and am extrememly pleased with the service - wheels and tires mounted and balanced at my door in one week. I don't know what exactly the duty would be but the GST/HST applies too.

you pay PST, GST, and if the wheels are not manufactured in North America, you will pay 6.1% duty I believe.
