Clevo Auto Show

Me, Wellzy, Keemosabi, and The Prince of Darkness aka Doc Lucas, went last night. We ran into "Jack and Diane" of yellow Clubman fame but lost them (sorry guys!).

The new MCS convertible looks great but they had it roped off with the top up (?)

The coolest car there? Well the Audi TTS of course!

From what I've seen the TT looks quite feminine. Especially if it's painted the wrong color.

Man you guys are tough crowd.

What I meant is he should stay away from pastel colors & maybe go with a black one with a rifle rack.

Feminine????????????

This is a car no one will call me a "momo" in. Of coarse it will be black. BTW, the original TT was sometimes considered a "girly" car(although I thought it was cool). But the new body style (2008) is bigger and very agressive looking.

Hey, (on paper) this thing is faster than my Porsche Cayman S was! Feminine? I THINK NOT CHARLES!!!!

Isss baaaaaaaaadassssssss

Sorry to ruffle your feathers there. IMO it looks feminine. Maybe it's bigger so what, ladies come in all sizes. If you like it fine, just not my cup a tea.

Is this a great country or what? We both get to have an opinion. You know mine & I know yours.

Ouch now that's gonna leave a mark. Is Greg actually going to sell his JCW for an Audry? Say it ain't so.

OK, that's dirty pool....

that photo is incendiary(even though it's a TT not a TTS). Made me curious how many pink MINIs are out there. So I googled it and what do you know....dozens of pages (ten cars per page) of photos of pink Minis or Minis with pink bonnet stripes

Couldn't find anymore pink Audis (did see a pink Vette) aside from the one here.

So are Minis feminine?

All I know is that the TTS will eat an '09 factory JCW and poop a Mustang GT, Dodge Challenger, Pontiac GTO, Mercedes SLK AMG,Lotus Elise,'06-'08 Porsche Cayman S (and many more "masculine" high end cars). And look cool doing it.

My 19 year old son said at the Audi dealership "Dad, that would be the coolest car you ever had".

Perhaps if I should consider a more "manly" car I'd look at a Mazda Meeyatuh.

I'd say kick his ***, but it appears that either:

1. Your Ex was a tall woman...
or
2. The mailman was huge...

in hopes that I could retire managing his NFL career.

Hey, he still can't catch up to me in the weight room or beat me in one on one hoops.

aaaaaaa some backup.....

The TTS at the show was white which is not my first choice and had black/red leather interior. I always though that combo only worked in black or red cars.

I've read alot of negative comments on the "always open" gauge in the convertible. I like it since I love any type of gauges and think it's constant with the Mini philosophy which is "fun and unique". However, I belive it's an option.

I have two sets of auxiliary gauges in my car and I have no clue what they even do. I just like the asthetic. Especially at night with more orange lights to look at.

If a MINI is feminine & a Miata is girlie then I'm guilty as charged. I love them both.

I'm OK with my manhood & it doesn't matter to me what a 19 kid thinks. I had some strange notions back then too.

Hey Dad, you should buy that Studebaker Champ. They're sweet cars.

I do think it is kind of funny & sad at the same time that the thought of a TT being feminine gets you upset. Who cares what others think. A real man can drive whatever he wishes from a TT to a big manly truck. Although even the manliest of men couldn't drive a pink one.

Upset? Not hardly.......

just having fun with this thread. So don't be sad Chuck

If I was worried what other people thought I wouldn't have made 90% of the decisions I've made

but since you feel that I put that much concern in your opinion how about telling me if I should pull out of the stock market or not

I really don't like to give financial advice, but since you are a friend here goes.... Yep you should invest your millions in *******'s hot dog futures. That way if things go bad you'll always have something to eat.

I thought since you put 25 of those little PO'd smiley's in your post it meant you were PO'd. I see you've edited them out. That makes it much easier to see you aren't being serious. That is one of the problems with the interweb, it's damn hard to tell what one truly is saying.
