My New Ride
Here are some pics of my new MINI. It is still waiting to clear customs in Germany before it can be shipped out. It has the body kit on it as well. Once it clears customs, the guys from AC-Schnitzer are going to color match the arches. Once I get it, I am going to throw on some H&R springs and new 17s. What do you think??

Very Sharp !!
Dunno whether you intend to replace those wheels when you switch to 17s, but the white wheels/mirrors is a combination I wish I had not let my salesperson talk me out of on order ("Ohh, you'll end up hating 'em -- having to clean the brake dust every other day...") Perhaps, but I still like the effect.
It's really good to have you back safe and sound !!

Ya, I am getting a pretty good deal on the color matching. I really don't think it looks good without. Once it is painted, I will post up some more pics. I hope it clears customs this week
Very nice indeed.
I just noticed the grille has slats and what looks like the honeycomb of the regular grille. It looks awesome!
Hey, since it's coming from Germany, is the speedo going to read Kilometers?

Nope. I bought it through the military car sales program when I was in Landstuhl for my short hospital stay. It is all US specs. The benefit of buying it there is that it is 2K below MSRP and no dealer fees. Since I never registered it there, I will stay have to pay tax when I register it in the States.

Ya, I am pretty psyched about it. I had the classic out running around today, so the addition of a new one will be nice.
Remember, I have room (and a kegerator) for any BGM members who are planning a trip to Colorado. Don't forget about MINIs in the Mountains

As for the wheels, I am looking at these: Konig Feathers from Alta Performance.
