Hope as many of you can make it this weekend for the "Crater of Diamonds Poker Run". The schedule is as follows:

9:00 am - Meet at the Embassy Suites Parking Lot in Hot Springs.
9:30 am - Depart

12:00 noon - Lunch at Buddy's Ranch House & Cafe in Murfreesboro, AR.
1:00 pm - Crater of Diamonds State Park

Return to the Embassy Suites Parking Lot by 5:00 pm.

NOTE: Anybody wanting to caravan from Little Rock needs to be at the K-Mart Parking Lot on Rodney Parham no later than 7:45 am. This will insure we make it to Hot Springs on schedule.

This ride will be a version of a "Poker Run". We will make five stops along the way to draw cards. Top card at each stop will win a prize. If two high cards are drawn, The two participants will have the option for both (not one) to redraw or save their card for their final poker hand. If they decide to hold their cards, the prize will be awarded to the final winner along with a trophy.

Man, I'm bummed out that I can't go (Popeye's broken for those of you that don't know). The practice run was a gas and I'm sure playing poker will make it even better!!!!! Anybody reading this that doesn't make a huge effort to go will really be missing out on a FUN RUN!!!!! Buddy's has great BBQ, so everybody better go!!! Don't even think "it's too early to get up and go to Hot Springs", every run we have I have to get up and go to Little Rock, so you guys can handle it once.
