What day are you going to start down to meet up with NorCal MINIs and then MidCal?
I'm coming down on Wednseday (3/21) and spend the night somewhere near East Bay MINI, I think?
Then hookuping with NorCal MINI for the run to Vegas.
If not see you Vegas baby!!!

Thanks Scooby. I did shoot him an email. He told me to ethier find somewhere to stay without a hotel or try to meet up with an older local mini owner that is going and split with them. I think Ill do the second one.

Not that I'm pushing anyone to stay at Palace, but it's fun to be at the same location as so many other MINI people. You wander through the casino floor and spot MINI shirts on 20% or so of the people in there. Also, not having to drive home after the dinner, or drive there 1st thing in the morning is nice.
I know some people have favorite hotels already, and some others think that Palace is a little pricy (Tower rooms are $6 a night more than last year, but they spent several million $$$ upgrading them), and others want to be on the Strip, but I really think that you can't beat Palace for value, location and the way they treat us. If I thought we could get better value elsewhere, we'd be somewhere else.
Jtrem, I still think your best bet is to join up with someone, maybe even someone posting in this thread, and share a room.

It's AMVIV, not a normal trip to Vegas and the strip (if I were coming to Vegas for that, sure I'd probably go somewhere else). Being there (at the Palace Station) and being able to hang out at all hours of the day and night is more than half the reason for going. It's not just the organized drives, but the chance to socialize, and the location is great for that.
