I just upgraded my Cooper's stereo by installing the DPSM. A couple years back I upgraded my front speakers. I went with these 5-1/4 Infinity reference 5002i two way speakers(45RMS, 135W Peak). These are unique as I took the old speakers out and dismantled them and inserted these inside the plastic ring from the OEM speakers. I also installed foam baffles to prevent corosion. These have the wire adapters to plug right into the factory speaker wires. These speakers sound Great! Great high note range as with most Infinity speakers. The tweeter in trhe center is also adjustable to aim for your viewing pleasure. These are a direct rplacement and will reinstall with the screws you remove from your original speakers. As far as I can tell these are discontinued but there is some info on crutchfield. These are used but work great. Looking to get $50? Not really sure what used speakers are worth, interested? Make an offer. I accept paypal.

Installed the speakers in about 30 minutes ,talk about plug and play! 
Very nice ,a good improvement, better fidelity,separation,highs, all around a very nice upgrade. You should go into business making these speakers. I will donate my old ones for their frames so you can have a set ready to go!!!

GLAD YOU LIKE! When I purchased them I wasn't really sure how I was going to get them mounted in the door and was going to take some wood and make a frame for them. TOO MUCH WORK! SoI gave up on them for a few days and left the old speakers on the coffe table. While I was watching TV one night I felt destructive and started dismembering one of the speakers and was just left with the ring. So then it came to me. I also installed foam as one of the OEM speakers looked like it started to corrode.
Funny you should mention get in the business. I mentioned it with pics on another forum a while ago and no one even seemed interested. Anyways glad you are enjoying them!
