If anyone has removed the stock air filter box to install a cold air intake, I need to buy a stock air filter box top. It appears that my dealer broke off both of the tabs during warranty service and now it will not seal properly.

I have a 2002 Cooper.

sounds like the dealer needs to give you a new one. if you get stuck, i have one i'm not using anymore.

 

I did not realize that it was broken until I changed my air filter 15K miles after my warranty expired. I don't think they will do anything about it after this length of time.

 

I am selling an OEM one on ebay right now...
