Leftovers from my "remove-all-the-freaking-chrome" phase.
Stock Chrome Mirror caps from my 2005 MCSc.

Sadly I did break one of the clips (drivers side outer top) otherwise intact and in great shape. (see pic two for the clip)

yep. the only part that broke was the bridge on the "fingers" that grabs the mirror unit. Each cap has 5. 3 on top, and 2 on the bottom. The only one that broke is on drivers top outside, so you'll still have 4 good clips.
And its probably feasible to fix the broken one by gluing a piece across it to reconnect the 'fingers'.
You can also use some double sided tape to attach it (which is what the factory had done, and why i broke the clip)
