After reading the rest of the thread (ITS THE INTERNET PEOPLE), the lights will go the the person who offered the most (already know who it is) OR I'll take your advice and put them on eBay. Thank the few who ruined it for everyone.

 

I dont think waiting for the highest bidder is against the rules, but I just really hate when people do that. You should just offer a price and sell it for that amount, first come first serve. It would be the "Mini" thing to do.

With that said, I think you'd get more on ebay anyways, if its all about the money. Most people sell here because they want to hook up other mini owners. Well, at least thats what I do anyways. I tried to sell a set of OEM halogen headlights for $100 for a few weeks, and after I got no offers, I took it to ebay and got $280.. Go figure.

 

the headlights on eBay are 'buy it now'...so you know how much those cost. Why not just offer your headlights for that price to begin with?

this thread should not have been a for sale thread, it should have been a feeler, since they were not really for sale yet. after seeing how many people wanted the lights, then you could have gone on eBay and gotten the ones you wanted, THEN come back here and SELL your lights FOR YOUR ASKING PRICE TO THE FIRST PERSON THAT OFFERS AND HAS THE MONEY AVAILABLE. thats how it is supposed to work.

 

i dont appreciate being preached to. initially, it was a feeler. the mod told me i cant do that so i put up a price. people replied fast and often so im like hey guess i offered too low but whatever. then i explained the situation about the aftermarket ones and partsman said tell me the price shipped in a pm. and hell if i could end up breaking even on my new ones, everyone wins. thats all it was.

 

If any of you cared to check the original post and the follow-up reply by a moderator, you would see that he was told to post a selling price. This was originally meant as a feeler and he edited his original post 35 minutes afterwards. Let it go...

Do you think I am a swindler? Do you actually assume I would have sold them without addressing these things? I am getting offended now. I am offering these at a good price.

I hear that the lens' crack very easy....it is why I don't even want try doing mine. I would rather buy ones that are done. I have xenons-they are even more expensive and tempermental.
