This Cooper S chrome (chrome look, not real metal) upper and lower grill for the front hood and bumper came on my MINI in 2004, but I immediately replaced it with the MINI Aero grill instead. Now that I've sold the car, it's time to clear out all those spare parts I've been hanging on to "just in case". This super shiny grill is factory OEM and doesn't have any damage. It is actually 4 separate pieces. This would be perfect to replace your bug-splattered, rock-chipped grill. Your MINI will thank you for it's healthy, new smile. :D

Your post is confusing. In the Subject it has R56 and I changed it to R53 since the pictures show R53 in the text and you state it's an 04. You also go on to say you have other R56 parts. R56 is from 07 on. R53 is the 02-06 MCS.

Please edit to show what correct model or if is R56 change the year designation and we'll refix the subject.

I've always liked the chrome grills. Does anyone know if this will fit the R56? A little space is ok but if it will look too small/out of place then I'll pass.
