i don't know if anyone is interested but, i'm replacing my stock exhaust next weekend and was feeling around to see if anyone might be interested in my stock set up. i assume it is reusable? i'm going with the megan racing cat back so i guess i would have the oem MINI system from the cat back available.

my MINI is a 2003 w/ 37k on the odometer. i'm the second owner but, the exhaust is in really great shape. i'm a "gentle" driver .

i will however be keeping the stock beer can tip just in case i don't like the megan tip. would require adapting the megan pipe outlet to accomodate the stock tip if i want to revert back to it. but, an OEM tip at pelican is $30.

i'm not sure if anyone will even be interested at all but, i see a few people going back to the stock set up so, someone must have tossed their stock exhaust . just trying to make back a few $ i have spent on upgrades. not sure what a fair price would be but, looks like new the OEM is around $600?

i was thinking somewhere in the $250-$275 range? that would be local pickup in the Los Angeles area. shipping it -i'm not sure if it would be worth the hassle. of course the price is negotiable.

anyhow, if anyone is interested and lives in the area, it will be available next saturday after i switch it out. and if time permits you can always check it out beforehand to inspect it.

again, not sure if anyone WOULD be interested but, what the heck? if i can recoup a few $ and you need to replace yours and can save a bunch- it may work out.

 

NOT a bump but, also forgot to mention am willing to trade for a couple things. i you are semi interested let me know.

things i am interested in trading for:

5 spoke R83 or R92 16" oem wheels OR 15" R82 8 spokes- in silver good shape. no rash etc.

interior trim. chrome rings, etc.

OBD II code reader tool mini mania style or possibly scanguage II.

 

nobody needs the exhaust eh? cool. megan will be installed in a couple hours and i will hold it for a day or 2 then it'll be trashed (or stored for emergency).

but, just in case... price lowered to $150 cash. local pickup definitely preferred.

 

Hi I am looking to go back to stock... the magnaflow was too loud for my taste. If you would be willing to ship I would be happy to take and trade the magnaflow.
