I won't ask how you're broke but have a Mini Cooper... I didn't have a car worth > $500 when I was in college!

I'm sure there will be more cars on the chopping block as winter goes on.

 

Typical american thought process. Broke means a 20+K car and only a 250K house and only make 45K a year.
no wonder most country's hate us.

broke means you are driving a 1500 beater with dings and rust spots. holes in your pants (not bought that way) and have to eat tuna 3 times a week to survive.

You seem way to spoiled if you are driving a cooper while going to college.
no disrespect, but you are far from broke if you drive a cooper while attending college, im sure if you plead enough mommy and daddy will help you help

i love the assumptions people on this board make about other members. maybe the kid worked his *** off to get a car he likes and just doesn't have money for much else.

the eletist attitude of this board really bums me out sometimes...

 

Any chance you guys could stop ruining this thread? There is an off-chance the car's owner might show back up.

 

I think people are more disappointed that someone would place car ownership and upgrades ahead of financial well being. Not to mention, if you have a Mini Cooper just about the last thing you should say is that you're "broke" as being "broke" implies it is out of your control.

 

I think someone is taking themselves a little too seriously. I, on the otherhand, noticed his symbol.
