I'm glad you all liked them, I thought they were great . I didn't even notice that they had additional tracks, I'll have to go back and get one . I am going to have to wait until really close to Christmas before I wrap mine and put it under the tree, I don't want the hubby to figure it out

I handed out a tag card today. Black and White MCS from Hoover/Vestavia area. Owners said they might drop in here and say hello or come to an event.

I tagged my first Mini today, in the Redstone Arsenal Commissary/PX parking lot. It was a Lazer Blue S, sorry I don't have more info. It was cool, I must say. I have tagged many a VW Beetle, but this was my first Mini

I've tagged a few more at Redstone and got one a few days ago at the Pinnacle in Trussville outside of the Belk end. It was Grey & Black (don't know the code right off)

An inside sales rep just brought a customer of his, a new MINI owner into my office just now; I sent him a link to NAM and mentioned this weekend's Drive-in Drive. He has a nicely appointed R56 MCS, EB Checkered roof.

I found this on my race car two years ago, the car was covered and on it's trailer, I pulled the cover off to show it to some friends and at first I thought it was a real ticket, because I still had California plates on the trailer, then I read it and we got a good laugh out of it, but I never found out who "issued" it to me,

I take it 'tagging' means to leave a card? Is this like advertising for local MINI clubs and activities? Do folks collect cards like ham radio operators do when they make contact with a far distant station?

Going to order first MINI in the morning.

Yes, but I don't know how much collecting is involved. We 'taggers' are just trying to inform other MINI owners that there is a local organization that they might want to hook up with for road trips, cruise-ins, meals, etc.

Just wanted to say hey to my home town folks in b'ham. I'm currently located in Daphne AL . Wife is in the Coast Guard so we go where they tell us too. New to the forum. Just wondering if there is anybody around daphne so I don't feel like I'm the only MCS on the bama gulf coast?

Cool :D

I tagged a Clubman S on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville today!
Strangest color I have ever seen on a car
I still don't know what I think of 'em.
Its like a Glorified Station Wagon....but then again, its a Mini.

Used my last card too....time to print out some new ones~

I'm going to have to look for you ParrishBlue. I work at VB II and drive a CPR MC with checkered side mirrors.

Coolness~ I come up to Hunstville without fail every 2 weeks. I always end up in Jones Valley now that all the new shopping is available. Not too many drives to University Drive anymore. I lived in Hazel Green for about 4 years while stationed there over a decade ago. I still love Huntsville and wouldn't mind moving back there someday

I'll keep my eyes open for you.

You assume correctly... I actually lived in Pelham for 23 years before moving to Helena.

I've seen a few MINIs in the North Shelby Co. area and look forward to adding one more to the road soon.

Hey ya'll!
I sent an email to the BAMA folks asking about joining and haven't heard anything.
My MYMC is on the Southern Highway (Ghost ship of the Atlantic) and I pick her up in Nashville in a couple of weeks.
I'd love to motor around or meet up or anything---keep the wave alive with more Bham MINIphiles.
I've probably seen some of you around town and nearly wreck from grinning and staring so hard. I can't wait!

Hi there Clicquot!
This place works in waves, like Ebb and Flo (you know them, don't you? )will be active one day, then quiet the next. Glad you are keeping in touch. As soon as this Hellacious summer passes, I'll get back in gear. Hope to meet you then

See you on the road~

Ahoy from the capital! I've seen more than a few of us down this way, but I don't know of any groups here. Assuming the weather is a little nicer next weekend, I'm thinking I'll be heading up for this ride y'all have planned. The Nebraska plates should make me easy to spot...
