Lunch Run to Mike & Ed's BBQ in Auburn
Greetings MINIacs,
What:
Please join the British Motoring Club of Montgomery and the River Region MINIs for a lunch Run to Mike & Ed's BBQ in Auburn [Menu] [Map] 307 North College St., Auburn, AL 36830, (334) 501-1866
When:
On Saturday, January 26, we'll meet in the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot behind Hardee's near the intersection of Atlanta Hwy & E. Bypass, in Montgomery, at 9:45am. Be topped off with petrol and ready to roll at 10:00.
Route from Montgomery to Auburn:
I've tried to pick a route with minimal traffic lights, but we'll be using 2-W radio channel 5, subchannel 0, or plain ol' channel 5 for the older radios if there's a problem.
Route back to Montgomery:
We can't have a trip over this way without taking advantage of the hills and curves on AL 50. It's a little bit farther, but we avoid downtown Tallassee and lots more fun. Check out this [Map] for details.
69.3 mi, 1 hour 47 mins

Sorry this is coming so late, (the BMC Website has been undergoing a major upgrade) but here's a report with photos at the bottom of the article, of last month's BBQ lunch run to Auburn. It was great to meet so many new MINIacs.
