I love that the number keeps going up even if the Dragon is going to be closed
Shows that people really just love to be around other mini people GOOD CHOICE everyone ! I am soooooooo ready to be there already

Curbie, I'd actually bet the majority of folks who've signed up don't know the Dragon will be closed. Sad, but likely true. That's OK, though, since the other roads around that area need some lovin' too! I am SO looking forward to this.
The amazing part to me is... with this economy, that we're still tracking on numbers. Does some characteristic of owning a Mini make our community more recession-proof?
Heck, c'mon 700.

The Dragon is a cheap vacation. It is cheaper for me to take the whole family to the Dragon for a week, than for me and Pam to spend a weekend somewhere.Originally Posted by DixonL2

i know we have a people count going on here, but do we have a MINI count going on anywhere?
Mr. MOTD
The system in not set you track MINIs, but based on how the registrations come in and the unique address and emials, it looks like approx, 430+ MINIs so far.
No MINI count, safe bet is at least 50%-60% the number of people. 75% is pushing it, but might be close.

Steve has me rethinking so I just went back into the server and looked at the first 8 pages and it looks like we have 149 unique address out of the first 210 which is closer to 70%, but as Steve eluded, that still might be a little high. I guess it's closer to 60-70% or 348 to 406 MINIs so far

Still a lot - and Steve, with respect, I'll call it an "economical" vacation. Too high-class to be "cheap"
