I think without Marks automatic updates, this thread has lost some luster. I would normally give you some competition, but I think I have a unfair advantage 
I keep reminding myself that Mark didn't have registration open till March 8th last year. So technically we are blowing the doors off of last year. At least that is the story I'm telling myself untill proven otherwise

I'm sure the economic crisis will have a big impact on MOTD. It's to be expected
I am a 5 year veteran & will not be returning as well as most of the rest of the St Louis contingency.
So have fun with those that DO come. Perhaps with less people & traffic, MOTD will return back to it's grassroots days which could be a good thing

Almost as cold as Alaska!
I'll be on a 2 week road trip from N. Tonawanda to S. Boston VA. then...8 days in Tampa then off to MOTD!!
I have reservations @ Blue Boar Inn near Robbinsville!
I've been driving MINI's since 2003 but this is my 1st MOTD!
I did pass through the Tail of the Dragon 2 years ago during a trip to Florida but it snowed the day I was there and could not enjoy the experience.....I leave here to get away from the snow and......
I belong to the Western NY MINI club and Southern Ontario MINI Club.
Can't wait to meet you all,

I am curious to see how the numbers are too. I am sitting out this year because I will be 6 months pregnant by then and need to save up some money.
I was surprised to find out that most of our club (Mid-South MINIacs) is not going this year either. We usually have about 15 cars drive up. I only know of 1 heading up this year. Not sure what everyone's reasons are.
Needless to say, come Dragon time I'll be sitting at my desk green with envy! We need a Dragon webcam!
