Are there any autocross plans for this year's MOTD? At last year's event, the SCCA guys seemed happy to have us again and I think we are due for perfect weather this year :-P

not as of yet, but if you would like to organize it, let me know and I'll add it to the program

 

Will this require SCCA membership to participate?

 

It did not last year.

 

SCCA groups usually allow non-members to participate. It just costs a little more compared to being a member.

 

In the past, this has been a special event hosted just for MOTD. The local SCCA region helped by running things, but it was not one of their regular events. It has been open to all MOTD particpants, SCCA members or not, same price for everyone.

If anyone had been watching this, here's the update:
The normal autocross site is not available to us on the date that is needed, there will be no autocross at the dragon this year :(
Hopefully next year will work out!
