You can iron them on by putting a handkerchief over the patch and applying a hot iron to melt the glue. The handkerchief is to protect from scorching. My experience has been that the glue will eventually weaken and the patch will come off. So I always sew mine on.

I bought a couple of MINI Wings patches, one is over the blue "MINI" on the left sleeve and the other is on the right breast portion of the jacket.



And yes, this is a man's jacket but would serve just as well for a woman. Lots of other choices, too.
