52/30 :-(

Get to make my 'donation' to the state of Tennessee.

Amazing. I just had Chad install new brakes. Spent some time driving around bedding them in. Then drove the Dragon for the first time taking it slow enough to not need brakes, and a Subaru Forester with a canoe on top was riding my a$$.

In fact, going slow enough my wife was not even complaining or getting sick. Just concentrating on making nice corners, line of site, keeping between the lines...

THP was at that last downhill corner before foothills pathway.

Ouch. Did this one at least tell you what your fine would be? Earlier in the week we saw someone get pulled on the Dragon and the Blount Co. LEO told him he'd have to call a number to find out what the fine would be. Bah.

Same, have to call in to see after they process paper work.

If you only have one ticket in a lot of this area (mid south states) you can go to drivers school and get it taken off your record, but still pay the donation to the state.

I would not be so mad if I got caught trying to speed. "ok you caught me, I am bad, I go to penalty box and feel shame"

Subject title seems to suggest he was, indeed, pegged for speeding.

I didn't say I was not speeding.

Just was trying to play nice by the rules, and still got a ticket. Frustrating.

Well I was definitely lucky.. I could have gotten a ticket but they got the guy behind me instead (I wasn't playing by the rules at the moment).
