We've got dogs that we have to drop off at 9am Tuesday at the resort (no joke, that's the title of the place) so making to P-burgh for an early departure would be tough.

Meeting with you guys in Erwin would work though.....

Well that is because we have not posted anything yet. It's only Feb 1!!!

It will likely be just as last year, leaving Pittsburgh early afternoon, drive to Erwin, TN, sleep, wake and drive the rest of the way....

Where are you staying?

For MOTD, we lucked out and got a room at Fontana Village. As far as the drive down, we were just going to drive to Knoxville or Asheville and find the safest looking place on hotels.com or something.

Since it sounds like there's a chance we can make it for the caravan from P-Burgh (or meet up enroute since we're in State College) we might just "hook" up with you guys.

Chicago-land area. 648 miles. Last year we did it in 10 hours stopping for breakfast and gas 2 times.

gnatster 02-03-2008 11:44 AM

Plano. TX a little over 900 miles. Probably leave on Sat and stop in either Nashville or Knoxville for the night to arrive on Sunday. Gives me a few days of low traffic in the area. Oh yeah and go to a wedding.

Debating on bringing a set of Hoosiers this year too...
