The solution, of course, is to put the sticker under the windsheild wiper, still on the backing. Then the people that want 'em on the car can do so and the folks that don't can... do whatever they want with them.

Not for me I want my sticker applied. It would take all the fun out of things if left unapplied. If unapplied, it would be no better than someone going "here's a free decal"

I wonder what the criteria for tagging was? I presumed my non-tagged stock MC in 06 didn't wow anybody.

I don't think anybody got tagged this year. The sticker bandit was either scared off by the whiners from last year or hec MBE they just had better things to do this year

Yeah, you should have said "whiney".

I got tagged with my bone stock MCS in 06, it may have been a random tagging type thing?

I know who the bandit is... And he did the same thing he did this year, as he did last year... so I don't know that he had better things to do, because he pretty much did the same thing, aside from tag our cars. Hence, he heeded the ungrateful.

I'm pretty sure the "original and totally unofficial" sticker bandit was not there this year. It is not I, so don't even go there. I have caught him "in flagrante stickericto" and have been a willing victim for several years.

I have heard from him though. He may show up next year and had mentioned thinking about having a sign contest. Come up with a very original sign in your MINI indicating you would like to be tagged and it might just happen for you. Get your thinking caps on now.

ORLY? I saw him this year, with my own two eyes. And my camera too, pics in my gallery. Not going to say who it is, but I know he was there for sure.

Then a second sticker bandit must be lurking. The one I'm talking about is the one who struck (or stuck) with "Actual Size" in 2004 and the white Dragon in 2006. Either there are two or he has developed a partner in sticker crime to confuse everyone.

I'm talking about the same one. I know I saw him this year. 100% sure.

And I know it's him, because I caught him in the act as well.

Are you sure you are sure? Because I'm sure I am sure, 100% too.

I sure do wish I had gotten a sticker.

After talking with Queen B, the following came to light.

There was originally bandit A, who got the stuff from bandit B. B did not attend.

Year two, bandit a and b tag-teamed as many minis as they could.

Year three, bandit b attended and tagged no one.

So the question is...
If Bandit A left Chicago at 0700 and travelled at an average of 55 mph while Bandit B left Pittsburgh at the same time but averaged 75 mph.... how many MINI's would have escaped being Tagged at MOTD?

Actually, the solution is for the detailing nutcases with the "you toucha my car I breaka you face" mentality to lighten up, peel off an unwanted sticker off the glass, and refrain from whining about it. (no offense to my dear friends who are detailing nutcases)

A small sticker thoughfully and carefully applied is certainly much less harmful than the tiniest dead bug on the windshield.

Oh man, I knew I should have paid attention in math.

My only complaint from this year's Dragon is that is that my MINI did not get tagged.....heavy sigh.....I suggested last year a little card that could go into the welcome packets saying "please don't tag my MINI" that folks worried about "vandalism" could leave on their dash. Heavy sigh.....maybe next year I will get another sticker.
