Not as embarrassing (or painful) as the video you caught of the biker losing it on the Gravity cavity. OUCH!!!

I'll make a note to stay away from the PA guys next year to avoid any possible embarassing moments

I completey agree.

Some would say that he did not loose a MINI, but he "gained" a life and that was reason to be positive.
I personally think he is just a nice, happy and upbeat person.

mmmmm...I think I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend!

The thing I hate is most bars don't even have cider.

Video of agranger's escape from the mud

Here's a little video of agranger's escape. Some friends were cruising by when all of the MINIs caught their eye. Wish I'd been there! Until next year...

http://mini.patrickturner.net/mini_mud_escape.mpg

NOTE: It's almost 5MB and this isn't a streaming server. Download at your own risk!

My commentary: once again, the MINI community shows its true colors!

I love Michigan! I was there in October for the Fall Color Tour and had some (non-hard) cider and donuts. Very nice!

Wow incredible timing with the video, its like you guys planned it....

I guess my most imbarrasing moment was my clutch slave giving out on me and basically getting stuck pointing uphill on the second Scenic Tour group drive just short of one of our stops.

Luckily a large group of awesome MINI owners came running down the road to help push my MINI up a very steep hill, all the while i was hearing "We've got a Man down!" blaring on the radio

I know there are photo's or Video out there somewhere as i also looked up and saw some wives snapping away hehehe.

I was wondering how you caught that! It wasn't even shot from a MINI!

Very cool! Thanks.

Did everyone have to wait for agranger to detail Jango after they made it back to pavement?

Well, it started out not at all embarassing when I got to drive the sexiest car of the dragon 2006 aka Tori's car, but when I was told that Hyper Pink Metallic was a good color for me, well, I can comfort myself with the knowledge that I was entrusted if only briefly with the sexiest car of the dragon.

Nobody had to wait, but they did hang back several hundred feet while the mud came flying off the tires!

I showed up a bit late to the dinner, but I got the car washed after the off-roading experience... you have to have priorities.

I did the unthinkable! Learned my lesson and thank GOD, no one was coming from other direction. I now know and should have known before last weekend the bounderies of the machine I have been driving.

AGAIN I SORRY AND GREATFUL.
For most, it is not the limits of the machine but the limits of the driver. Driving schools and track days made a huge difference for me at the Dragon this year compared to last.
