tell me about it...today I knocked my water bottle over and all the water landed on my work phone. Then I was trying to put a powder mix into mywater when my paper funnel decided to jump out of my hand which resulted in my work keyboard covered in powder...eak!

Who would have ever thought getting yelled at by the cops for stopping on a bridge would have resulted in such a cool photo. With a little processing help from the lord and master (Tuls), I give you my last photo of the evening!
Voila!

PS. as always if anyone knows who this Mini belongs to please let them know the shot is up...besides it's probablymy fault the cops yelled at them too!

Need to Photo chop a little MINI driving up a blade of grass maybe hide a few in the background.

Awesome Photo, hope to meet you next year

I can't believe your little box camera does so well, but the operator is a key factor.
As well as photo processing skill, knowledge, & experience.

I'll have to talk it over with Tuls but PM me your email and I'll see what I can do! It truly is a cool shot.

It's Russell from KY, who came down to autocross. I don't think he posts much 'round here but I think I have his email.
Ultra cool shot.

I rule (tooting my own horn today!) toot toot

This photo is already gaining a little history even though it already looks like it's right out of the 60's.
When I took this photo the classic mini was already stopped on the damn and I held them up a few seconds longer to snap off 3 shots and get yelled at by the local authority. Out of the photos I got this. As I was working on the processing my wonderful Mr.Tuls stopped into my office and helped me out to give it just the right feel. Soon after I posted it Henry (MINIcar?) the guy who rolled his mini at the dargon mentioned he would love it if I mailed it to him as a postcard when he goes home to Taiwan. Imediately I realized it was missing a coffee stain and "Wish you were here"....so thus you have one of my favorite shots I've done to date and I couldn't have done it with out the collective energy of everyone involded with it. So thanks guys, you rock!!!
I can't see what history will fall upon this photo next!

That's XoXo silly! I guess it does kind of look like it says KoKo. See that's one more thing to add to the story, the postcard could be from someone named Koko

Stoop (can I call you that? Oh well... too late ) - you do some great work! You have an eye for this stuff, for sure. I wish I could take pictures that were half as good.

I wish I could've hooked up with you at the Dragon to have a couple photos snapped of my car. I haven't been able to capture its "essence" yet .

Just curious - what camera are you using?

Rival-thanks always happy to get compliments

Jray-Stoo works too! There were others that wanted me to get pics of their cars too but my stuff is always happenstance (a-k-a happy accidents). I use a Canon Powershot s70. It's one heck of a little powerhouse

Defy-ummmm....not sure how many of my shots you have seen but I've only used it a small handfull of times so I'm going to take that comment as there was a giggle attatched to the end of it inocently poking fun because of my last 2 shots.

it's called Vignetting.... various things cause it.... apature, lens, focal length...blah blah etc... when photoshop is used... it's what we would do in the dark room... hence the reason it's called proccessing... and lastly... if you comment was for no other reason then to be negative and unconstructive... which having read many of you other posts they come off that way...

A) keep it to your self

3) look at someone elses photos

X) it's art... it's what art is about... showing people how the world looks through the artisits eyes

I remembered mentioning this at the beginning of the original brew swap thread(page 2), and the only response I saw was from the organizer saying 'No ciders here'. I guess I took it as meaning at the brew swap, versus him meaning where he was, because I stopped paying attention to the thread after that.

I'm kinda bummed I missed all the cider now. Next year.

I think the photo is fantastic! In the next couple months I am repainting my office and will be displaying a lot of MINI artwork. I'd love to have a print of this one for my wall. . .
