Krut, yes, I was very lucky. Thank you God!
Way Motor Works is already asking for buying the car back from insurance company and he got my authorized. I don't know the detail with insurance yet. I'll let you know if the wheels are available.

WOW that looks really bad. We heard a couple of accounts in the village. Glad you were able to walk away. Luckily you didn't have a passenger with you... Good luck.

Eh, it'll buff out!

In all seriousness, damn! Glad the MINI held up as well as it did. It's stories like this that I like telling friends who think that the MINI is a death trap. The MINI might sacrifice itself, but you go on! And that's the real important thing!

Very glad that you're OK!

Glad to hear you’re all right.

Yucca Patrol told me he went down the hill and recovered the front bumper on Sunday. It now resides at the Tree of Shame at Deals Gap.

MINI_CAR, the spot where you took off at the intersection of 129 (The Dragon) and 28 (The Hellbender), is The Crossroads of Time at Deal's Gap.

What a wreck! How's your arm feeling? Did the seatbelt bruise your chest? So glad you weren't really hurt. Sorry about the MINI and pleased to read you'll be getting another.

Ha Ha.... I remember that. Becasue the lead car British flag MINI's exhaust was so loud. She heard it like 5 sec. before you guys were there. She thought he was going really fast. Sorry... got you guys yelled by local.

I am fine now. No seatbelt bruise at all. I won't get another MINI for a while becasue I have to leave this country to wait on my working visa. Hopefully by the time I came back in the end of this year I can get a new 2007 MINI MCS. Thanks for asking. by the way, the accident was close to the Deal's Gap but, it's actually on 28 where the dumpster located.

Glad you were ok in the crash.

We went to the site on Sunday and pulled the bumper back up the hill and hung it proudly on the tree at Deal's Gap.

Someone should post a photo of it sometime. . .

Glad to hear that you made it out ok.

Shankrabbit and I were at the scene of a motorcyle accident on the Dragon (short story: guy hits wall with bike and face) and the other Mini owner that was there just happened to be videotaping at the time and got the accident on camera.
Then he showed us the pictures of your car...so I'm guessing this is the same guy you mentioned.

Needless to say we asked him not to follow us on our way back.

That's a shame about your MINI, however, I am glad you are OK.

Cars can be replaced

I heard rumors that this was your second MINI, is that true?

Hey Henry, it's me Dave from Pittsburgh, I was the car behind you when you went off. Drew was my passenger. and yes, we also got video of the biker hitting the embankment.

We were the Dragon Paparazzi :D

Glad you're ok! I can still picture the whole accident in my mind just thinking about it. Somebody was watching over you that night, you're lucky you're not dead.

Wow, that is crazy. I'm just glad the Mini took the brunt of the damage, and not you.
