Ooopsss.... you should have told me. It would have saved myself some time, and I cut myself doing it too.

I hope they will stick onto the plastic piece then. I cleaned it real well before I did it. Since I put them on will it be a problem? Did I screw up my beautiful center caps?

If you stuck it to the plastic you will be fine. Can't help with the cut finger besides a little Kissy Kissy. I'll leave that to James

whatever you do, don't stuff them in your pants or strap them to your chest and tell the security guards that you had a divine message from Allah to bring them with you...

As a matter a fact I do. I make them a little smaller to fit better on the boot. Te Boot would be $75 installed.

I sell the Checkmate stripes for the bonnet for $60.
It's all on my website.

Mike, I'll take the Thursday 1 PM slot for the install of the new chrome bonnet stripes, please. Thanks!

BTW, I recommend that you very carefully pack and ship (insured, of course) your graphics supplies and glow sticks to Fontana Village so you won't need to take them on the plane with you.

You're set for 1:00 Clo. I was planning on taking the vinyl with me on the plane. I will be going to GA first so If I need to ship stuff it will go there.

I just made an industrial case to carry my vinyl. That should do the trick.

Hello Mike,
Let me get that 4pm slot on Saturday if it is still open.
It is for my wifes MCSC with the white pinstripes for the boot.
This trumps the email I sent you earlier. Please confirm if this works for you!
Thanks!!

I'm not sure yet if I like the swwop boot stripe...lol I hate making decisions. I'm getting a sunroof graphic before I head down there and I want boot stripes. Someone told me they thought diagonals would look good and I just don't know...What's our opinion?

If not the one I posted here I would go with straight stripes the same width as the checkmate to follow through with what is in front.

What sunroof graphic are you getting? Can I make something for you.

Mike, I got a freakin crazy idea for my car, what's your opinion, what do you think something along the lines of this would run (I'd need you or someone to actually do the vector files for me)..

I wanted to do something very "TRON" like.. the whole circuit board look.. like so...

the colors matching the colors of the interior gauges...

something like this..

What I was think was smaller patterns that were easily manageable and could be sort of placed wherever, not necessarily in a specific position.. kinda hard to explain...

I'm thinking I'd outline every line in the car with a matching pinstriping tape..

That sounds like a hell of a lot of work but I think it would look real cool when it was done.
What about using that neon Pinrope for the outline. Than you can light it up at night.

You may have issues with the vinyl not adhering to the fenders because of the rough plastic surface but everywhere else whould be no problem.

Send me and email and we will talk.

yeah, I'm thinking about doing the pinrope inside the car... need to keep it "street legal" after all.. hell I got a ticket about a year ago for those stoopid "TireFlies".. what's even funnier is I had no idea they were even on the car... someone did it as a joke...

I know it's a lot of work, but I'm thinking small sections that could be randomly pieced together.. only way I can really explain it will be when I get down there and actually show you on paper what I'm trying to do..

this is kinda why I was hesitant about the "eddie" roof graphic, because I wasn't sure it would go with the scheme.., however, I think I got some "Maiden" ideas that would work well with the whole conept.. We'll chat down there... I'll buy ya a beer..

The sunroof graphic is checkerboard with a king chess piece laying on top. If I didn't have someone already go through the trouble of doing it. I definitely would have let you create it. But I would feel bad ditching all this guys hard work. Maybe while I'm down there you can look at my car and come up with something for me without going too over the top. I've thought about doing CHECKS signature on the boot with a small king next to it. who knows. Maybe I'll play with photoshop a little and send you something.

That sig was done in Photoshop. PS just took the high lights and brought them to the surface.

I think the Somewhere in Time Eddie would fit quite nicley with this theme.
So exturnal Light are illeagal out there? Man that's a first. I wish they would make them illeagal out here It would get some of these Hot Shot ricers off the street. All looks and no play.

Can't wait till Hot Import Nights out here when I can show them what a real car can do

BWAAA HAA HAA!!! ROTF!... we're gonna get along just fine! I have the same love for the "import tuner crowd" as you appear to..LOL! (although I do have to admit the new F&F: Tokyo Drift looks like it has some pretty bad-*** driving in it.. saw the preview the other night)

my fave Eddie pics are "Somewhere in Time", "Killers", "Piece of mind", "Stranger in a strange land", the original Iron Maiden cover and I really dig the old "Running Free" cover.. he looks totally menacing there and you can't quite tell what he looks like (he's chasing some kid down and alley-way)

"Killers" and "The Trooper" They came out with "Somewhere in time eddie but I didn't have the $$ to get it at the time.

This year I want to take my MINI to the Summer Nationals in Mass. (not too far from me), last year they had a crazy-*** burnout competition and I just thought it'd be funny as hell to run up in there with the MINI..LOL!.. I'd be competing against like GTO judges with full bored out motors, running nitro-methane, etc.. too funny! Last year they did it in a tunnel at night, that was actually pretty cool... nothing like the smell of burning rubber and alcohol fueled cars...

you should set up a booth there this year...I'd come visit ya! (I know there was at the very least 50,000 people there... it was crazy!)

"did someone say BBQ?"
