New member - 2010 Clubman JCW

Hello all,

I have been lurking for few months and have learned so much, already have 7000 miles on the car. I bought the Clubman JCW back in August and loving every minute of it, it is a 6 speed manual, leather interior, HK Audio System, Premium pkg, Blue Tooth. I already dumped the RFT and went to Yokohama All Season, I have added and hard wired my Sattellite, Radar, and GPS thanks to all the help on this forum. I also added the stripes, if anyone looking for a very good and reasonable outfit in Central Jersey then look up www.horizonsignsonline.com. Great guy and great work, here are couple of shots.

Something's hinky with the attachments, but from the thumbnails, that's a sweet Clubman!

Not sure I've seen a JCW with factory aero kit before... Unique! Nice color, nice stripes, nice choice in wheels. Good job!

Here are 2. Both are 2009 models. I do not know why the OPs factory aero kit does not have painted arches. And I like the stripes. Very unique.

Intersting, I wonder if the arches are no longer painted or metal on the 2010 JCW. Mine are actually plastic type of material and would definitly would rather the painted arches.

the arches weren't painted on the Clubmans for some reason.

Yeah. After getting home when I when I had the stripes done on the bonnet and barn doors, I felt like something was missing. It needed something on the sides to tie it all together.

My 2011 JCW is on the way will be doing similar on an all Midnight Black car.
Going to do the Viper stripes in Flat Black with the Red pins striping. Debate nows is if I outline both black stripes with 1/4" red matching the brakes and JCW badges of just stripes on the outside edges. What do you guys think. Even thought about the whole 1.5 inches between the stripes in red so you have the thicker red stripe in the middle, and the 1/4 pins on the outside.
Yes lots of time waiting and thinking before it gets here. Leaning toward just the outside edges at this point. Just enough to set of the flat black stripes.

Stripes on the side, a little narrower than the ones on the hood and finished them on both side with red trim. I think it looks very nice.

Ron from Horizones really does great works.
