Is my JB+ piggyback too close to radiator?

Please forgive me for being new here, it's my first time doing this. I installed a JB+ piggyback in my Countryman S 2023 and I'm not comfortable with how close this thing is to my radiator fan. It's just under an inch away. JB support told me to use zip ties but I don't quite trust it. Am I overreacting here? Was thinking of switching to RaceChip which has much longer cables. I couldn't find a great way to install it

I opted for the piggyback because I have a warranty on my car. Thought it would easier this way until it expire. I didn't even bother starting the car with it on, it didn't sit right with me.

Either it is tight and snug enough not to move far enough to touch the blades, or it isn't. Your radiator fans don't move closer to your engine when they turn...if there is ANY play in the fan blades, they would move forward when they run as they bite the air to push air toward the engine.
