JCW Tuning kit questions

I just bought a 2019 Countryman-S. I didn't expect it, but it has the JCW Tuning kit installed. There is a certification in the glove box, JCW on the exhaust tips and emblem on the engine. Cool. Anyway, now I'm reading about the bluetooth controlled flap. Does the kit always have the flap? Is the solenoid clearly visible without removing anything (I haven't looked yet!), but I want to verify if it's there.

Lastly, the car did not come with a bluetooth button. Any idea where you can get just the button (only a mini dealer?)? Is it possible to put the flap into pairing mode and maybe connect it to something else?

Sorry so many questions. Never even heard of this so it's all new to me!

On my Stock JCW, 2019, there is a flap on the passenger side that opens when not in "Green Mode", using the toggle switch on the center stack. It would be nice if it could be set by that toggle function, but, what you have certainly is different than mine. Well, mine is no longer there, since I replaced the exhaust with an NM Engineering system.

I have the JCW kit on my '19, IIRC when I looked under there it has a flap on both sides which when open allows the exhaust to bypass the muffler. If you look at a diagram of the exhaust it has a Y on both sides before it enters the muffler which when the flaps are open goes straight out. It's a noticeable difference between opened and closed, although it does sound great in the standard closed form too.

I believe some people have wired in a switch to bypass the bluetooth module that's installed in the trunk if you don't want to spend the money on the remote.

The date that the JCW tuning kit was installed (listed on the plastic engine cover and certificate) is the same date that the car was first sold new, but it isn't listed on the monroney window sticker, so I guess it was something the customer wanted that was extra. But anyway, I don't see any sign of a solenoid for the flap on any part of the exhaust, so I'm guessing that it didn't include that part of kit! It has the tail pipe tips though.

The exhaust came with the kit so it would be very strange if it wasn't included. Take pic of the underside of each side of the exhaust and look for inlet and outlet pipes on each side of the muffler. The standard exhaust just has a single outlet pipe on each side of the muffler. I had mine installed as part of the purchase but anything done at the dealer isn't going to be on the window sticker. That's only if it's port installed. Generally you save on labor with the port installed accessories but you don't get the old parts back. But really for something like this do you need the parts back? My stock exhaust is sitting in my storage room just taking up space.
