Mini offers basic free service warranty for 3 years, mostly oil changes every 10K miles or once a year. Is that sufficient for a Countryman S?

 

There are tons of info around here on oil changes, best bet is to do them every 5000 miles.

 

I did my own oil change at 1200mi (to mimic my old BMW break-in period) then plan on doing another oil change at 5000 increments. What's throwing it off is the oil change occurs at CBS so I had to go in for an oil change at 8000 mi. I still plan on changing it 5000 miles after that point.
