Brand new to this forum and wanted to say Hey!
Just bought an Exec Demo 2018 Countryman S All4 and fricken love it! It came fully loaded except for the Rear-view mirror which it manual? Didn't get why they didn't order it.....
My wife has Arthritis in her hand and cannot turn the **** to flip the mirror for bright headlights. Does anyone make an aftermarket lever that would clamp/lever on to that know so she can just flip it back and forth?
I saw so many different threads on changing to a Auto dimming mirror but don't really know if its truly feasible but could be another option.

This is a non-removable mod, but you could drill a little hole and run a string through it which would give her greater mechanical advantage.

My 2013 had the smooth round thing you had to spin which was useless. I drilled it and put a screw in it so I could turn it. The dealer didn't even notice it when I traded it in.

 

Go to realoem.com and look at the various original mirror options. Maybe one of them would work. You can also look on EBAY for used ones as well. Should be able to find one cheap that you can swap out.
