Power Tailgate

You may open and close the power tailgate successfully by waving your foot just under two sonic sensors on the rear bumper . Most kick their foot under the center of the rear bumper like commercials but fail mostly

I use this constantly.

Works 9/10.

The kicking motion is key. I pretend there's a soccer ball underneath the center of the rear bumper and I am just trying to toe pass it a few yards in front of me.
