I am thinking Chloe will make the Thursday trip with me...I just need to convince my wife that the puppy needs to see all the coopers and nice people.

Here are the two
that are NOT coming, unfortunately:

Berkeley's Bocephus of Castle Rock and
Berkeley's KC Chief of Castle Rock.

Shame. Both are Glen of Imaal Terriers.

Its so sad but this is as close as our boys have ever been to being in a MINI. It took PhotoShop to get them into my not-yet-ordered Cabrio.

Chance (front seat) and Cody (his dad in the back seat) have never been in CoopahS, but they do have Jeepy all to themselves. When I get my MINI, we are keeping the Jeep as the dog car. And it makes me very sad that they are not coming to Colorado with us. Their Auntie Lisa will be spoiling them at home. So we'll be looking for dog-fixes from others.

You need Doggie-Style
stuff and swag for your MINI. They will not be at MITM but they have sent some giveaways for all of you...

Just a warning to anyone thinking about bringing their dog to MITM, especially a small dog, they can be very prone to motion sickness. We made the mistake of taking our 2 year old pug to the Ozark mountains and driving through the twisty roads and poor Bella threw up in the car on the way home and would not eat for 24 hours after the trip. I'm sure all dogs are different but just wanted to share our experience.

At the farmers market in Minturn, there is a dog biscuit vendor that has treats sure to get you off the hook with your MiniMutt when you return home.

The market is on Saturdays 'til around 2. I think the dog biscuit vendor is Aspen Biscuit Co. The PB&J were a big hit at our house!

Perhaps next year
we make this an official 'doggie' friendly event.

Maybe we can even do....'dog tags'.

Hmmmm.

That would be great! We could provide some dog bath supplies like shampoo (& the waffle towels are great for cars AND dogs!) and designate a corner of the car wash area for dog washing. Of course, the water would be pretty cold...

I had hoped to plan a dog hike or dog gathering but realized that I had no time to do so! Next year Nick will come up too which will free me up for some dog stuff... hopefully!

Puppies and Minis
My three corgis have attended both MITMs and totally loved all the attention they received. Thanks to those of you that helped me with Jeannie since she couldn't get around very well without help.

I think dogs add to the rally. Not only do the Minis reflect the owners personalities, dogs do too.
