Congrats on the peak numbers....but it looks like that beast has some mad high RPM boost threshold. It'd be a doggg on the Dragon.

Takes a while to build power, but must come on with a bang when it does. The question is, how far does it fall off the boost when hitting the next gear? I think the up-shifts will drop you below 5000.

You must be one of Paul's favorites, he hasn't asked you to back it up with a timeslip yet.

Kal told me he finally caved and bought an ebay electic SC making it all the more a euroRICER. That is how you make 303 on 16psi

I DID move onto the BMW. Thats why Kal can bust my chops about the Mini's turbo build. I cant drop 20k on the motor right now. I can do 10K so that is going to the BMW. I am trying to refi my house and gather up cash for helicopter pilot school... I have THREE money pits....to his 1 1/2....LOL

I am thinking on adding a turbo to my R53, if you dont mind me asking, what type of turbo set up are you using? Is it a turbo kit or did you piece it together?

He is running a fully built motor and a one off turbo only kit by Hubie Fuh. What is your goal with your car Smalls?

I recently had my beloved 2000 Turbocharged civic SI with 300HP. Am looking to get around the same power out of my mini. Am just trying to figure out what I need to do and how much i would have to spend. Getting the power out with durability is Key for me

Kal's car pulls like a little monster, reminds me of a tuned stock Evo on pump gas, very smooth. I'll have to buy a kit from Hubie Fuh and put it in my 06 S

well, the head and the valves are probably the most restrictive parts on the mini, as well as the stock header isnt that great in how it comes together, but for 300+ your gonna have to get a big turbo and slap it on, or drop a load and buy jan's new rmw stroker TVS setup.

Smalls

I know exactly what Kal has done to his car

Built Head - P&P, valves, valve springs, etc.
Built Bottom-end - just pistons
custom turbo header made by Hubie
custom intake manifold
custom A2A FMIC
Garrett GT2876R turbo which is pretty small
Quafie LSD
Spec Stage 4 clutch

for the whole package your looking at $10-15k to do it right the first time.
