Rear clutch pack trigger voltage?

I am replacing my rear diff after it failed, and want to check that the EMCD clutch pack is functional, does anyone know what the trigger voltage is?

F69 Countryman? What year? How many miles? Curious what happened to cause the failure?

It's an 2011 R60 S All4 with 113k on the clock, I haven't torn it down yet to assess what caused the failure.
