so I have a 2013 countryman s all4 and am looking at possibly doing the clutch on my own from what little I have looked into there isn't a whole lot of videos on how to do it. I guess my question would be is does the transfer case half to come out of the car to do it? and if so what all would I need to do so and do I need from what I have heard called a re seal kit to put it back in? im looking at doing the lower control arm bushings as well since the sub frame has to come down to do anything under the car from my understanding. any info on how to do it videos and info on what specialty tools I would need to do so would be greatly appreciated. iv been real lucky with this car as I am the 5th owner and got it with 100k miles and now has almost 170k miles in the last 3 years of my ownership. its going to be a Weeknd project as its no longer my daily to get back and forth to work.

I don’t have an All4, but I replaced the clutch in my R55. I can’t imagine you’d be able to remove the transmission without pulling the transfer case. The axels have to come out, and the axel isn’t coming out with the transfer case in the way. There is no reseal kit, you’ll have to get them all separately.

from my understanding what's called the re seal kit is just a input shaft seal and possibly a new nut

I would scout the parts diagrams on RealOEM.com and order whatever you think you’ll need. I ordered a bunch of stuff when I did the clutch. Didn’t use it all, but glad I had it on hand for peace of mind.
