Rebuilding 2011 R60 Countryman Transfer Case

Hello all! Documenting this because I have not been able to find anything online about rebuilding an R60 transfer case. Attempting to rebuild because everything inside looks fine other than the output shaft bearing and I dont want to spend $1,000 + on a replacement TC if I can just replace the bearing. Anyone know how the shaft comes out? Is the 12 point nut threaded or am I missing something? Thanks for any replies / interest.

Successful Rebuilders

Ik this thread is kind of old but I stumbled upon it after looking for answers on my own Mini R60’s transfer case issue. Wanted to let know I found a guy on TikTok under the account @gearlabuk that successfully tears them apart and has his own rebuild kit he uses. The date on the video was 2023-11-20. Kuddos to whoever pursues answers from this guy.
Update: Found another guy that shows a tear down and rebuild
