Help! Three of the door locks on my R60 stopped working at the same time! The fourth door, on the drivers side, still locks, but need the key to unlock. Sounds like a central unit needs to be reset somehow? Does anyone know what I should try? Thanks for all help 🙏

 

I'm not too knowledgeable but you don't have an answer yet. ECS Tuning sells a BMW/Mini OBD scan tool that's far more powerful than just showing "P" codes. It can give live data of engine and transmission while running. It seems to be able to show information for everything on the car that has a wire to it. If you get one and play with it, Schwaben i think was the name of the brand, it will show you if the car is registering the lock/unlock command (if you get to the right module, it can detect and display whatever button your are touching). It should also show you if there is a fault with whatever specific controller which handles that.
