Bump Steer

Hi, 2013 Countryman All4 S, Stock Suspension, recently when i go over a bump on the highway, the front of the car jumps to left or right. What seems broken?

You'll find varying reports of this. Mine has always done this due to the runflat tires. (it annoyed me to no end)

Typically, the tires are the first place to check and usually the likely culprit. So not sure if there have been any changes recently vs the past. (don't know how long you've had it)

If not that, the next thing to look for is probably going to be a bit more expensive. If memory serves me correctly (and others will know better than I do for sure) I believe it's the front control arm bushings that will wear out to the point you'll see a lot more play there as well.

just had a similar thing with my wife Jeep Cherokee but it was the back end. Replace the rear shocks last night. Good as new. Could be time for new front struts?
